Message from Mrs. Bailey

As the holiday season is fast approaching, we will have the opportunity for our students to give back to the community through our Kiwanis Food Drive, sponsored by our student groups. This is meant to feed hungry families within Macomb County, including many families in our immediate community. The food drive, along with our ‘mitten tree’ will be two of our charitable causes this holiday season. Students, parents, and staff will have the opportunity to donate canned/boxed food items in the coming weeks. Notes will be coming home soon with details about the Kiwanis Food Drive and other opportunities. Once the donations have been collected, they will be delivered to families in need.

The mission of our school is to provide a nurturing environment committed to achieving excellence.  All students are challenged to reach their maximum potential by gaining a solid foundation of skills, knowledge, and values.  This foundation enables each student to become a resourceful thinker and successful lifelong learner.

Utica Community Schools is Michigan's second largest school district.

Student achievement in the district outpaces all county, state and national averages. The district's graduation rate is 12 points higher than the state average and students and staff are regularly honored for excellence.
